I've noticed occasional dark particles on the diaper, should I be worried?Updated 2 months ago
Not at all – those tiny dark specks are natural cotton plant fibers.
Because our diapers are made with non-chlorine bleached cotton, you may occasionally see small flecks from the cotton plant itself, such as seed or husk fragments. These are a natural by-product of cotton and are completely safe for babies.
Many cotton products are heavily bleached or processed to create a perfectly white appearance, which removes these natural flecks. We intentionally avoid that kind of harsh processing, so what you’re seeing is simply a sign of our cotton in a more natural state.
The specks don’t affect performance or safety in any way – they’re just part of what makes our cotton different. For more info on what makes our cotton unique, check out our blog post on TruCotton.
